Could he really just be that powerful? He literally, with no eyes, treated Sasuke's Amaterasu like it was a tiny flame that wasn't even worth acknowledging, and certainly said as much. I think the implication of that is that, with or without the black flames, Madara's fire jutsu are still quite a bit more powerful.
Hashirama even suggested that maybe Madara flat out absorbed the flames. So could it just be that Madara is so amazingly talented and skilled in the area of fire based ninjutsu that they not even the black flames of Amaterasu work against him? We know sometimes certain shinobi just have special traits or talents that sets them apart from all others. Could one of Madara's many hidden talents be that fire jutsu will simply just not work against him? How else can we explain his treating Amaterasu like nothing without any eye jutsu to aide him in his defense against them?
